PROGRAM OVERVIEW

EMERGE is a program for emerging dance artists to experience dance from multiple professional paths.  EMERGE allows artists to grow their technique while learning more about the ins and outs of being a professional dance artist.  EMERGE’s approach to teaching program material intentionally focuses on critical thinking, team building, and leadership practices to support the whole artist inside and outside the studio.


Our faculty is a team of working, seasoned professionals with extensive and dynamic knowledge and expertise in the field of dance.  


Each artist will select 2 paths to experience during the 2 week program.


At the conclusion of the program, each artist who participates for the full program will have professionally produced materials (1 headshot, 1 action shot, 1 video of work/performance, 1 image of work/performance, 1 bio)

All Classes + Headshot + 1 Guest Ticket to the showcase

Technique: Daily modern + contemporary dance technique classes
Performance: Live performance skills + build a portfolio
Creative Process: Dance Production
